In the last several years, mobile devices such as the Apple iPhone, along with T-Mobile’s myTouch and Verizon’s Droid (both based on the Android platform), have become ubiquitous. As a form of communication, mobile media have a truly unique ability to deliver engaging, impactful, and interactive content to a highly targeted audience.
As a revenue-generating opportunity, mobile apps have their limits. There are hundreds of thousands to choose from; many designed and promoted by companies with tremendous budgets and resources.
