Tulalip Casino Resort Architecturual Pre-Viz

The Tulalip Casino & Resort and Ruhl Parr & Associates commissioned Lavalobe to create 4 photo-real renders for their soon-to-be-built resort hotel that they can then use for marketing efforts.
We went on-site, rented a lift and shot some plates with a 35mm camera and a digital SLR. After the photoshoot we painted out all construction “obstacles” and expanded the environment digitally. Meanwhile, we worked with the Architects, Ruhl Parr & Associates, on getting the final blueprints for the hotel to get started on our 3D models. We opted to create everything in Maya, then render passes in Renderman, and then composite everything in Photoshop. For our last pass we added cars, people and trees into the environment to give it a lively and elegant feel. This rendering is so real, if you listen closely you might even hear the slot machines jingle!
