What we discovered is that there are still many discrepancies between browsers regarding what video file formats they support and how the playback looks. H264, which is supported by Chrome and Safari (and will also be supported by Internet Explorer 9) seems to deliver the biggest bang for the buck.<br />

In it, we depict a broad range of subjects, ranging from<em> Basics of Dental Care</em> to what you <em>must/should/could do</em> at a certain age, as well as exclusive cosmetic procedures like <em>Veneers</em>, <em>Crowns</em> &amp; <em>Invisalign</em>.</p>
<p>All videos are hosted on YouTube and embedded throughout Dr. K&#8217;s website, most notably on Dr. K&#8217;s blog @ <a href="http://www.nwsmiles.com/video-series">www.nwsmiles.com/video-series</a>. New videos were released on a monthly basis along with announcements via E-newsletters to Dr. K&#8217;s patients.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In order to promote <a href="http://www.intelius.com/datecheck" target="_blank">DateCheck</a>, a new mobile app from <a href="http://www.intelius.com/" target="_blank">Intelius </a>that helps daters to <em>Look Up before They Hook Up</em>, we launched a contest on facebook to engage the users and introduce the product to the online community. We consider active online users to be the early adopters for this product and we wanted to reach them first.</p>
<p>The recentely completed <a href="http://blog.intelius.com/date-check-contest/?fbid=Uiv5KjazsOP" target="_blank"><em>$1,000 DateCheck Dream Date Contest</em></a> on facebook was a big success. Once the contest was launched it was promoted on various social media channels, including YouTube, Twitter and Digg. However, to really kick-start awareness we also launched a focused ad campaign on facebook.</p>
<p>In order to create the lowest possible barrier of entry we also decided to offer both, an essay-based contest, as well as a video contest. And since video submissions are such a powerful marketing medium, we wanted to award two main prizes to the video contest winners and one main prize to the essay contest winner. Both contests ran simultaneously and featured two rounds:</p>
<ul>
<li>Round 1: submission round, after which judges selected the top 8 male and top 8 female finalists (in both contests).</li>
<li>Round 2 was entirely controlled by the users. Finalists requested their friends to vote for them on facebook. This drove additional awareness about the product (&amp; and the contest, of course) among facebook users.</li>

The goal was to clearly illustrate the advanced technologies of the world’s first water oven designed specifically to bring the gourmet sous vide cooking method into home kitchens. 425 Postproduction, who oversaw the production and post-production process, turned to Lavalobe for 3D Animation services.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://arstasis.com/">Arstasis</a> contacted Lavalobe with a challenging 3D medical product demonstration and procedure animation project in order to present to doctors and investors. We started by developing storyboards and pre-visualization of the procedure itself  and worked closely with the experts during the animation production in order to create the best possible demonstration. We used highly detailed CAD drawings in order to build each virtual device accurately and rigged them for optimized functionality and animatable parameters. Upon completion we output video files for multiple devices, starting from DVDs, HD &amp; SD QuickTime videos and Windows Media Files, to cell phone optimized digital media for Blackberrys, iPhones and Windows Mobile. Lavalobe also designed accompanying print materials to insure that Arstasis was ready for any presentation, tradeshow or event.</p>
